The function of hydraulic filter is to filter all kinds of impurities in the hydraulic system, which mainly come from the mechanical impurities remaining in the hydraulic system after cleaning, such as rust, casting sand, welding slag, iron filings, paint, etc. What should be paid attention to when installing the hydraulic filter?

Precautions for installation of hydraulic filter mainly include the following points:

1. It should be installed at the oil suction port of the pump: the surface oil filter is generally installed on the oil suction road of the pump to filter out large impurities and particles to protect the hydraulic pump. In addition, the filtering capacity of the oil filter should be more than twice the pump flow, and the pressure loss should be less than 0.02MPa.
2. Installed on the oil return circuit of the system: this installation plays an indirect filtering role. Generally, a back pressure valve is installed in parallel with the filter. When the filter is blocked and reaches a certain pressure value, the back pressure valve opens.
3. The purpose of installing hydraulic filter oil filter is to filter out pollutants that may invade valves and other components. Its filtering accuracy should be 10 ~ 15 μ m. And it can bear the working pressure and impact pressure on the oil circuit, and the pressure drop should be less than 0.35Mpa. At the same time, a safety valve should be installed to prevent the oil filter from blocking.
