Once the flow resistance of the oil filter exceeds a certain limit, impurities may enter the host, which may affect the service efficiency and service life of the machine.

The service life of the oil filter is an important problem of the actual hydraulic system, especially the failure of the filter element and the resulting failure of the hydraulic system.

After the target cleanliness level of the hydraulic filter system is determined, it is very important to always ensure that the hydraulic oil filter system works under the target cleanliness level. Working under the basic cleanliness required by the hydraulic system can avoid the wear of components caused by system pollution and prolong the service life of the system. If the cleanliness level is set too high, the filtering accuracy of the selected filter element will be high, and the number of filter element replacement will increase accordingly, resulting in increased use costs.

In fact, the main reason for the failure of oil filter (filter element) in hydraulic system is the high pollution invasion rate. The high pollution invasion rate increases the burden of the filter element and shortens the service life of the filter element. The greater the pollution degree of hydraulic oil, the shorter the service life of filter element.
