Maintenance of hydraulic system

2023-04-11

Before a system is officially put into operation, it usually needs to be flushed. The purpose of flushing is to remove residual pollutants, metal shavings, fiber compounds, iron cores, etc. in the system. In the first two hours of operation, even if the system is not completely damaged, it can cause a series of malfunctions. So the following steps should be followed to clean the system oil circuit:

1) Clean the oil tank with a dry cleaning solvent, and then remove solvent residue with filtered air.
2) Clean all pipelines of the system, and in some cases, it is necessary to impregnate the pipelines and joints.
3) Install an oil filter in the pipeline to protect the supply and pressure lines of the valve.
4) Install a flushing plate on the collector to replace precision valves, such as electro-hydraulic servo valves.
5) Check if all pipeline sizes are suitable and connections are correct.

If an electro-hydraulic servo valve is used in the system, I might as well say two more words. The flushing plate of the servo valve should allow the oil to flow from the oil supply pipeline to the collector and directly return to the oil tank. This can allow the oil to circulate repeatedly to flush the system and allow the oil filter to filter out solid particles. During the flushing process, the oil filter should be checked every 1-2 hours to prevent contamination from blocking the oil filter. At this time, the bypass should not be opened, If you notice that the oil filter is starting to block, replace it immediately.

The flushing cycle is determined by the structure of the system and the degree of system pollution. If the sample of the filtering medium has no or very little foreign pollutants, install a new oil filter, remove the flushing plate, and install a valve to work!

Planned maintenance: Establish a system regular maintenance system to maintain the hydraulic system well

Recommendations for folding maintenance are as follows

1) At most 500 hours or three months, the oil should be inspected and replaced.
2) Regularly flush the inlet oil filter of the oil pump.
3) Check if the hydraulic oil is contaminated by acidification or other pollutants, and the odor of the hydraulic oil can roughly identify whether it has deteriorated.
4) Repair any leaks in the system.
5) Ensure that no foreign particles enter the fuel tank from the vent cover of the fuel tank, the plug seat of the oil filter, the sealing gasket of the return pipeline, and other openings in the fuel tank.
