The use and problems of hydraulic accessories

2023-05-15

Hydraulic accessories refer to relatively large components on the hydraulic system, such as some hydraulic filters, return oil filters, mesh filters, liquid level control relays, etc. These are hydraulic accessories, while those with small volumes are called hydraulic accessories.

Problems with hydraulic accessories:

According to incomplete statistics, 70% of the faults that occur in hydraulic components are related to hydraulic oil, and about 90% of these 70% are caused by impurities. The inspection content of hydraulic oil mainly includes the following points: cleanliness, color, viscosity, and consistency of hydraulic oil; In addition, there is an odor. When hydraulic oil flows from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side without performing mechanical work, heat will be generated in the hydraulic system. If the temperature of hydraulic oil is too high, it can cause expensive sealing components to deteriorate and the oil to oxidize to failure, causing corrosion and sediment formation, leading to blockage of damping holes and accelerated valve wear. Excessive temperature will cause valve and pump jamming, and high temperature of hydraulic accessories can also bring safety issues. By checking the oil temperature inside the fuel tank, it is sometimes possible to eliminate system faults before serious harm occurs. In most systems, the overflow valve is the main heat source, and the excessive flow through the pressure reducing valve of hydraulic components is another major cause of heat generation. Due to the correlation between low efficiency and energy loss, checking the operating temperature can determine whether there is a problem of low efficiency. For hydraulic systems, controlling pollutants in the oil is a major task, and the sources of pollutants in hydraulic accessories mainly include the following aspects:
1. Entering with new oil.
2. Within the system during the assembly process.
3. Entering with the surrounding air.
4. Caused by internal wear and tear of hydraulic components.
5. Entering through a leaking or damaged seal.
6. It was brought in during maintenance.

Use of hydraulic accessories:
1. The key points for determining the efficiency of filters at all levels are: the performance requirements of the final filter, the efficiency specifications of the pre filter should be reasonable, and the maintenance of the primary filter and precision filter should be convenient.
2. Increase the filtering area of hydraulic filters. The larger the filtering area of the filter, the more dust it can hold, and its lifespan is longer. Moreover, with a large filtration area, the speed of airflow passing through the material is low, and the resistance of the filter is small.
3. Adjust the efficiency of hydraulic filters at all levels. If the filtration efficiency of the pre filter is low, the dust can be blocked in the pre filter by adjusting the filtration efficiency of the pre filter.
4. Hydraulic filters should not emphasize the additional effect of the filter.
5. Climate factors affect the filtering effect. If there are many poplar and willow trees used in the filter area, corresponding measures should be taken in air conditioning design, such as changing the height of the air inlet or adding protective nets to the air inlet. If the measures are not appropriate, then there is only one trick left: frequently change the filter during the floating season.
6. Hydraulic filter cleaning technology is difficult to promote efficient filters, and the usage situation is very particular. Even if the filter cannot be washed bad, it is best not to wash it unless it is thoroughly cleaned and the performance remains unchanged after cleaning.
