The classification of the oil filter(1)

2021-12-08

Mesh oil filter
The filter element of the mesh oil filter takes copper mesh or stainless steel mesh as the filter material, and one or two layers of copper wire mesh are wrapped on the plastic or metal cylindrical skeleton with many holes around. Its filtering accuracy depends on the number of layers of copper mesh and the size of mesh. The oil filter has the advantages of simple structure, large flow capacity and convenient cleaning, but the filtering accuracy is low. It is generally used for the oil suction port of hydraulic pump.

Wire gap oil filter
The wire gap oil filter uses steel wire or aluminum wire tightly wound on the outside of the cylindrical framework to form the filter element, and the impurities mixed in the liquid are filtered by relying on the small gap between copper wires. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, large flow capacity and higher filtering accuracy than the mesh oil filter, but it is not easy to clean. Most of them are return oil filters.

Paper oil filter
The filter element of the paper oil filter is a paper core made of plain or corrugated phenolic resin or wood pulp microporous filter paper, and the paper core is surrounded on the skeleton made of tinned iron with holes to increase the strength. In order to increase the filtering area, the paper core is generally made into a folded shape. Its filtering precision is high. It is generally used for fine filtration of oil, but it cannot be cleaned after blocking. The filter element must be replaced frequently.

Sintered oil filter
The filter element of the sintered oil filter is sintered from metal powder, and the micropores between particles are used to block the passage of impurities in the oil. The filter element can withstand high pressure, good corrosion resistance and high filtration precision. It is suitable for high pressure and high temperature hydraulic systems requiring fine filtration.
