There is also a filter layer on the coalescer filter element, which can block a small part of the particulate impurities. A pre filter is set before the coalescer separator to filter most of the particulate impurities. This can maintain the filter element inside the coalescer from being blocked and prolong the service life of the coalescer filter element.

Q: can the gas-liquid coalescer filter solid impurities?
A: the gas-liquid coalescence separator uses the internal filter element to remove the liquid mist and solid particles in the gas flow and filter the particle impurities. However, when there are a lot of solid impurities in the gas flow, the filter element inside the coalescer is simply blocked. When the impurities enter the coalescer layer, it will affect the dehydration effect of the separator. Therefore, if there is no filter in front of the coalescer in the process flow, the filter will be used to remove the impurities.
