The failure of the hydraulic filter is mainly caused by the failure of the seal, and the reasons for the failure of the seal are as follows:

In practical application, improper device is the main reason for seal failure. During assembly, the sealing element will fail due to the cutting and damage of the sealing element caused by forced pressing, the reverse installation of the directional sealing element, and the extrusion and distortion of the O-ring. At the same time, special attention shall be paid to the cleanliness of the sealing surface when installing the seal, especially in the poor working environment. When the user disassembles the hydraulic filter for changing the filter element, the pollutants adhering to the sealing surface may cause sealing failure. All these require the user to pay more attention during the installation process.

In addition, the quality problem of the seal itself is also the main reason for the leakage of the hydraulic filter. Since the transportation and storage of seals need to have specific environment and age rules, the user should pay special attention to whether the seals have been deformed (such as size change), degenerated (such as odor), aged (such as hardness change) and scratched on the surface when installing and replacing the seals, so as to avoid filter failure again after installation.
