Pressure difference range of hydraulic filter element

Hydraulic filter is a filter element used to filter impurities in the hydraulic system, which can effectively prevent the hydraulic system from being damaged due to oil pollution.

There will be pressure drop in the hydraulic system due to the flow of oil, that is, the pressure change when the hydraulic oil flows into the hydraulic system through the hydraulic filter element.

Generally speaking, the accuracy of hydraulic filter element can be divided into three different levels: high accuracy, medium accuracy and low accuracy, which are 2-5um (high accuracy), 10-15um (medium accuracy), and 15-25um (low accuracy).

The differential pressure range of the filter element of the hydraulic filter is usually 0.35-0.4MPa. Of course, there are also hydraulic filter elements with high pressure, such as 42MPa.

It should be noted here that if the pressure in the hydraulic filter exceeds the range of pressure difference that the filter element can withstand, the hydraulic filter element is easily damaged.
