What happened to the oil filter alarm?

As an infrequently used filtering equipment, many customers often have alarm when using the oil filter. The alarm of the oil filter alarm does not mean that the equipment is broken. The main function of the alarm is to prompt that the operating procedure is wrong. When a certain value is reached, the oil filter can be protected by emergency shutdown.


There are generally two conditions for oil filter alarm:


1. Pressure control alarm. The alarm sound is short. Shut down immediately after the alarm. The reason is that the filter element is blocked or the valve at the oil outlet is not opened. When the oil outlet pressure exceeds the set value (0.3MPa) when the oil outlet valve is not opened, the pressure controller will start automatically and the oil filter will stop running. It is necessary to close the valve and open the ballast valve to relieve the vacuum and eliminate the state that the outlet pressure exceeds the set value. To resume operation, first press the emergency stop key to release the status, then rotate it for reset, and then restart all operations.


2. The second kind of alarm sound is very long, continuous alarm sound. During the operation of the oil filter, when the oil in the cooler reaches the oil level controlled by the level controller, the oil filter stops running. It is necessary to close the valve and open the ballast valve at the same time to relieve the vacuum and eliminate the oil reaching the state; To resume operation, first press the emergency stop key to release the status, then rotate it for reset, and then restart all operations.


Generally speaking, there are two kinds of alarm for oil filter. The alarm is for protection when the oil filter is in use. When the problem cannot be found, you can cut off the power and try to restart it. If there is any problem that cannot be solved, please contact the after-sales department to avoid affecting the production work.
