1. Neglections and misunderstandings among management and maintenance technicians;
2. Newly purchased hydraulic oil can be directly added to the fuel tank without filtration;
3. The cleanliness of hydraulic oil is independent of the service life of hydraulic components and seals, as well as the failure of the hydraulic system. In fact, the cleanliness of oil filter directly affects the normal operation of hydraulic equipment. Research has shown that 80% -90% of hydraulic machine failures are caused by contamination of the hydraulic system.

Main issues:

1. If the hydraulic system is dirty, it will affect the operation of the hydraulic valve, causing the valve to get stuck and the valve core to wear quickly;
2. When hydraulic oil is oxidized, emulsified, or contaminated by particles, the oil pump may fail due to cavitation and insufficient lubrication of its moving parts, and even burn the pump;
3. When the hydraulic oil is contaminated, the service life of the seals and guide rails will be greatly shortened;


The causes of oil contamination in the oil filter are as follows:

1. Friction of moving parts and impact of high-pressure oil flow;
2. Wear of seals and guide rails;
3. Oxidation and other deterioration of hydraulic oil.

How to correctly maintain the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil of the oil filter:

1. The hydraulic system must be equipped with an independent high-precision circulating filtration system and high-precision return oil filter;
2. When changing the oil, be sure to filter the new oil before adding it to the tank, and be careful to avoid secondary pollution;
3. Strictly control the oil temperature. The normal oil temperature should be controlled between 40-45 ℃.
4. Regularly check the cleanliness and oil quality of hydraulic oil.
5. Regularly remove water, filter, and purify.
